Sunday

Feeling bad for Noah.  I thought his cold was almost over, but his fever went over 100 again today.  We kept him home from church because he still had a runny nose, but we had to extend his shut-in status through lunch at Leah's house with my parents and grandparents when Dave had to administer the ibuprofen.  Poor kid was so bummed.  Dave told me that he (noah) just snuggled up to him most of the time and ate his lunch at the coffee table (which mommy never lets him do), then he requested a nap.

David had fun playing with Kobe ("i love Kobe. He is my best friend") and did a lot of crying when it was time to leave.  Other than that he was very good over there.  I had a good time talking with my family, learning some interesting family history.

I watched Ava tonight at our house.  She actually behaved a little better than normal, which is always welcome.  She let the boys take turns playing her Nintendo DS.  She helped them play and talked nicely to them.  She became a little crabbier as it got closer to bed time.  I'm sure she was probably tired.  But as soon as her mom came to take her home, she became awful!  She ignored everything her mom said, and was outright rude to her.  Then the DS was suddenly missing.  She wandered around aimlessly "looking" for it.  It was underneath a pillow on the couch that she never sat on.  I'm pretty sure that she hid it while I was in the bathroom, so she could waste time when her mom arrived.  Oh, and she turned the volume up on the TV to the setting of "obnoxious,"  which I promptly lowered back down to the "normal human hearing" setting.

David and Noah have now been in bed for 30-45 min.  Noah has already come done to pee once.  I make them go potty right before bed every night.  David came down ridiculously emotional because he was thirsty.  I gave him a drink right before bed, so I said no (if he drinks too much, he soaks himself at night.).  Then I hear him crying all the way from his room.  I call him down (irate at this point because I know what the problem is going to be).  He says he is soooo thirsty.  I almost lost it.  I gave him a drink in case he caught a sore throat from his brother, and sent him back to bed with very stern orders to "quit crying,  go to sleep, and don't get out of bed again."

Annnnd, Noah just came down to pee again.  UGGH!
