In relation to eggs and brain-damage:
Leah: have you boiled them yet?
me: oh.... no. forgot about that part...
L: I just boiled all of mine.
Me: I don't divide up candy. I 4get to boil eggs. i am domestically challenged! that truck knocked the common sense out of my head!
L: Ha Ha domestically challenged....
Me: Im starting to worry about my absent-mindedness and lack of logic
L: I think it is just random. not from the accident. obviously, i could be wrong, but I am around you a lot and have never noticed a change.
Me: great. i was this retarded before. Awesome.
L: Yes, that is what I meant.
Me: I know. It was perfectly clear. You didn't stutter. That's why i said it.
L: Do you usually stutter while texting?
Me: Enuf lip out of you! (that symptom may have yet to manifest ittselfff.)
L: That would be terrible. especially bcuz i would laugh at you.
Me: Always count on you for encouragment.
L: Yup.

Easter Party
the boys with their Easter Egg Hunt haul.
love this picture. i think it's adorable. little miss stopped in the middle of 'hunt' to eat the candy.
sticking the gel cling things to her face. silly girl. as far as i know, none were eaten.
the pictures we colored and glued tails to. (yes, the adults colored a few...)
The Hunt. Ended up being indoors. Cold, wet, and muddy outside.
Either way the kids got their candy, so they did not mind.

sometimes
sometimes i feel like this.
sometimes like this.
sometimes like this.
sometimes like this and
this.
but mostly this.
I am not always losing my mind.
I am not always full of "lets build a tree house!" energy.
I'm not always sad.
Not always tired.
Mostly, I'm content and happy.
But I am ALWAYS thankful for my children.

Easter party!
having an Easter party next wednesday. This week has given me hope that the weather will be nice--except the weather man says otherwise. Apparently it is suppose to rain for the rest of the month, or something like that. I really do not want to have an egg hunt in the house. they suck. my house is not tiny, but it does not feel big enough for 8 kids to be running around "looking" for eggs. most of these kids are under 3 yr. they do not do a whole lot of looking. it would be more like throwing a bunch of plastic eggs on the floor and a race to see who got the most. lots of crying and fighting involved. so the yard would be preferable. everything would be a bit more spread out. so lets all start praying now that it will not rain for at least a couple hours on wednesday morning. regardless, I am sure they will all have fun--at least for some amount of time. kids like anything new. (oh--i would also like to color eggs outside, instead of my kitchen floor.) still need to go buy some more supplies and look up games/activities for the little ones to do! any suggestions--let me know!

pat
Noah has taken up a new habit. Sometimes this action is adorable--sometimes you would like to return the action right back. Whenever Noah requests something now (juice, show, crackers, etc.), he follows it up with a 'pat' to the face. Sometimes he will put his tiny hands on both sides of your face, give little shake and say "milk, please!" in a goofy little voice. CUTE! Other times he takes those tiny little hands and 'pats' both sides of your face, demanding "Toy Story 3!" And gives your hair a good solid tug to make sure you are paying attention. But he is smiling the whole time, so it's ok... I'll give you a little pat...
